Live4ever’s New Tunes Guide feat. Israel Nash Gripka, Kapitals and more

New Tunes Guide highlights arrive this week from Israel Nash Gripka and Kapitals.

Israel Nash Gripka releases his third album ‘Israel Nash’s Rain Plans’ on September 30th, following the 2011 effort ‘Barn Doors & Concrete Floors’. First cut ‘Woman At The Well’ is a glorious slice of Americana, and can be sampled live once the details of a European tour are confirmed shortly.

Dublin’s Kapitals released the track ‘Paris Is Burning’ as a free download earlier this month, and have just completed a trio of live dates in London. Formed in 2010, the group consists of Ev Dempsey (vox, keys & guitar), Mark Ryan (vox, guitar) , Mick Simpson (vocals, bass) and Glen Guerin (drums, percussion).

These and eight other picks of the week can be found by scrolling through our latest collection, and you can check out previous editions by clicking on the New Tunes Guide logo below.

“Alfie and Harry Hudson-Taylor take their inspiration from their parent’s record collection – Simon & Garfunkel and Crosby, Stills & Nash are cited as particular favourites. This special edition release will include remixes of their single, ‘Black Mouth’ by their drummer, DJ Gonzo in Vegas, another by The Welfare State plus a remix of ‘Silver Constellation’ by the renowned Valencia production duo Phat & Zkinny.”
