Kings Of Leon close 2013 Open’er Festival

Kings Of Leon played the final day of the 2013 Open’er Festival on Saturday (July 6th), and aired a new song set to feature on their forthcoming ‘Mechanical Bull‘ album.

The Followill family’s closing set arrived after previous headline performances from Arctic Monkeys, Blur and Queens Of The Stone Age, and included the brand new track ‘It Don’t Matter‘ along side other established festival favourites such as ‘Sex On Fire‘ and ‘Use Somebody‘.

Day three had been earlier closed out by Queens Of The Stone Age, with frontman Josh Homme praising the Polish crowd as ‘the best of the tour’ after opening with the brilliant triple blow of ‘Feel Good Hit Of The Summer‘, ‘You Think I Ain’t Worth a Dollar, But I Feel Like a Millionaire‘ and ‘No One Knows‘.
