Jake Bugg and Mercury winners Alt-J were among the acts included on a playlist presented to world leaders by David Cameron at last month’s G8 summit in Northern Ireland, reports The Guardian.

The British Prime Minister apparently attended the event armed with a handful of USB sticks which were handed out to Barack Obama, Vladimir Putin, Angela Merkel and others.

Jake Bugg’s breakthrough single ‘Lightning Bolt‘ would appear to be a favourite of Cameron’s, while Alt-J’s ‘Tessellate‘ – taken from the band’s lauded debut ‘An Awesome Wave‘ – also made it onto the list, as did Ben Howard, Laura Mvula and Tom Odell.

Playlist:

Alt-J – ‘Tessellate’
Jake Bugg – ‘Lightning Bolt’
Laura Mvula – ‘Green Garden’
Lianne La Havas – ‘Is Your Love Big Enough?’
Ben Howard – ‘Only Love’
Gabrielle Aplin – ‘Home’
Tom Odell – ‘Another Love’
Rudimental ft John Newman – ‘Feel the Love’
Birdy – ‘Skinny Love’
Conor Maynard – ‘Can’t Say No’
