Arcade Fire will be in Australia and New Zealand early next as part of the Big Day Out festival.
The shows are the first to be confirmed for the Canadian band as they emerge from a long touring break in preparation for the release of their fourth album in October.
The group begin the Big Day Out series in Aukland, New Zealand on January 17th 2014, and move across the Tasman Sea to Australia’s Gold Coast for a gig on January 19th. Shows throughout Australia then continue until February 2nd.
Amongst the other bands named on the bill are Pearl Jam, Blur, Tame Impala, Portugal. the Man, Toro y Moi, Mudhoney, The Naked and Famous, DIIV and The 1975. Tickets details and more information can be found over at the event’s official website.
