Queens Of The Stone Age were the special guests of David Letterman last night; watch the performance of ‘My God Is The Sun‘ below.

The song is taken from Queens Of The Stone Age’s new album ‘…Like Clockwork‘, which is currently locked in a battle with electronic duo Disclosure‘s debut for the top spot on the UK Album Chart.

It’s been almost exactly six years since Queens Of The Stone Age released their last studio effort ‘Era Vulgaris‘ – a delay which mainman Josh Homme recently disclosed was partly due to a ‘heavy disconnect’ he experienced from music after complications with knee surgery.

“I was in bed for four months and went through things that I’d never been through before,” he told The Sun. “When I got up, I didn’t want to make music any more. I had all these feelings that everything was wrong. It was, ‘Woe is me’, but more than a depression. There was a heavy disconnect between me and music. I’d never felt that before.”
