Black Rebel Motorcycle Club have unveiled the promo for their track ‘Hate The Taste‘ – check it out via YouTube below.
BRMC have worked on the video with the independent film, art and music collective Transistor Six, and teamed up during a performance at Austin’s Psych Fest in April to create what is described as a ‘twist on a live performance video based on their mutual aesthetic and appreciation of vintage, analog sounds and images’.
‘Hate The Taste’ is the latest single taken from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club’s seventh album ‘Specter At The Feast‘ – comfortably one of Live4ever’s essential releases of 2013 so far.
“They sing about the ugliness of war and the sweet release of death, like a trio of ghosts who happened upon Black Sabbath and close harmonies in the same afternoon,” our review declares. “By all the ordinary rules of the music world, they ought to be a heavy metal band with pretensions up to their eyeballs.”
