The National play a one-off show in London later this month on top of previously announced November dates in Belfast, Dublin, Manchester and London.

The US band revealed the details of a June 26th gig at the London Roundhouse via a post on Facebook yesterday (June 10th), with tickets priced at £27.50 and limited to two per person.

“Hi London,” the message reads. “We thought it would be fun to play at the Roundhouse on June 26th. Our friends Local Natives will be there too. Tickets go on sale at 9am local time on June 12th. Hope to see you there!”

The National released ‘Trouble Will Find Me‘ last month, and are enjoying a continued growth in commercial success which began with 2010’s ‘High Violet‘.

“For the past ten years we’d been chasing something, wanting to prove something,” frontman Matt Berninger has said of the LP.

“And this chase was about trying to disprove our own insecurities. After touring High Violet, I think we felt like we’d finally gotten there. Now we could relax—not in terms of our own expectations but we didn’t have to prove our identity any longer.”
