The Courteeners will warm-up for their appearance at this month’s Glastonbury festival with a one-off gig at the Liverpool Academy on June 25th.

Tickets for the show, which arrives three days before the band’s scheduled performance at Worthy Farm, go on general sale from 9am this Friday (June 14th).

Soon after Glastonbury, The Courteeners have two shows at the Castlefield Bowl in Manchester due on July 5th and 6th. High profile support is to be provided by Reverend & The Makers and Miles Kane, while Coral frontman James Skelly‘s new band the Intenders, as well as The Strypes, The Heartbreaks and Findlay, complete an impressive line-up.

“To spend two nights with our fans under the stars of Manchester will be very special indeed,” singer Liam Fray has said of the shows. “It’ll be great to finally be bringing ‘Anna’ home. With some amazing supports, people are in for a treat. July can’t come quick enough. Let’s pray it doesn’t rain.”
