The Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney and former Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor have both contributed to a new track recorded by the London-based American blues singer Stephen Dale Petit.

The duo have helped to put together the track ‘Holla‘, which is due to feature on Petit’s new album ‘Cracking The Code‘. The LP also includes a song recorded with Dr. John and is set for release on September 9th.

“It’s been mind blowing to get to work with the best musicians & producers in the world, the crème de la crème,” Petit remarks. “I can’t wait for people to hear it.”

Meanwhile, Mick Taylor could be onstage with his former Rolling Stones bandmates on Saturday when the legendary group headline Glastonbury for their first ever appearance at the festival – Taylor has been performing a few tracks live with Sir Mick, Keith, Ronnie and Charlie during their 50 And Counting anniversary tour since the end of 2012.
