Queens Of The Stone Age have added an extra Wembley Arena date to their November UK tour after tickets for the original show sold-out within minutes of going on-sale this morning (June 21st).

As well as the sold-out gig on November 22nd, Josh Homme and co. will now also perform on the following evening, November 23rd.

The UK leg is preceded by a gig at the O2 Arena in Dublin on November 17th before opening up on November 16th at the Glasgow Arena. It then takes in stops at the Belfast Odyssey, Manchester’s MEN Arena and the Birmingham NIA during the following days before the London concerts.

Queens Of The Stone Age’s new album ‘…Like Clockwork‘ will be on show during the tour. The LP features a number of guest stars, one of whom, Elton John, described it as ‘the best rock album of the last five or six years’.

“I’ve never really played on a record with a rock band like that and for me it was one of the most exciting things I’ve ever done,” he said. “I think its probably the best rock album by any band in about five or six years.”
