Video: Beady Eye perform on Later…with Jools Holland

Beady Eye appeared on Later…with Jools Holland last night ahead of the release of their new album ‘BE‘ next month. The tracks ‘Second Bite Of The Apple‘ , ‘Flick Of The Finger‘ and ‘Soul Love‘ were aired – the latter of which can be viewed below.

The performance marked the second visit to the BBC studios for Liam Gallagher and co. since the Oasis split in 2009, and this time saw the band joined by a prominent brass section and an additional drummer – regular sticksman Chris Sharrock‘s son.

‘BE’ is starting to be recognised as a slightly departure for Beady Eye when compared to their debut ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding‘ after Dave Sitek was signed up on production duties.

“I love him: he’s an outlaw,” Liam Gallagher has said of Sitek. “He definitely didn’t come over to London to see the Queen, know what I mean? He came to make a good record. When people mention ‘experimenting’, the thing about that word, it makes it sound like they’re really fucking trying hard. But we didn’t really try that hard, man. We just laid it on the line.”
