The National are streaming their new album ‘Trouble Will Find Me‘ in full online ahead of its official release next week.
A number of tracks have already been publicly unveiled during the past few weeks, but now fans can sample the band’s latest studio effort in its entirety on iTunes by following this link.
“For the past ten years we’d been chasing something, wanting to prove something,” frontman Matt Berninger has said of the LP.
“And this chase was about trying to disprove our own insecurities. After touring High Violet, I think we felt like we’d finally gotten there. Now we could relax—not in terms of our own expectations but we didn’t have to prove our identity any longer.”
The National are due to visit the UK later this year after a lengthy stretch of North American dates is completed; they visit the Odyssey Arena in Belfast on November 9th and the O2 Arena in Dublin a day later before crossing the Irish Sea for gigs in Manchester (11th) and London (13th).
