Paul McCartney performs ‘Eight Days a Week’ live


Paul McCartney treated fans to a very rare live performance of the Beatles ‘Eight Days a Week’ at Saturday night’s concert in Belo Horizone, Brazil, the opening night to his world tour ‘Out There‘. Most of the 55 thousand present were not even born yet when Macca played it last – back in 1965.

The other four songs by The Beatles that have never before been performed live before last night’s set were ‘Your Mother Should Know‘, ‘Being For The Benefit Of Mr Kite‘, ‘>Lovely Rita‘ and ‘All Together Now‘.




Wings tracks ‘What The Man Said‘ and ‘Hi Hi Hi’ also made it into his solo setlist for the first time, the NME reported.

Belo Horizonte fans have a local fan club to thank for McCartney’s tour stop. A petition on Facebook got the singer to perform in the city Brazilian city for the first time. The group of fans even got to share the stage at the end of the show as Sir Paul thanked them for organizing the night.
