Mick Jagger has said he could take up the traditional accommodation at Glastonbury next month and set up camp for the weekend.
Sir Mick tells Q Magazine he has ‘nothing else on’ that weekend, and so might grasp the opportunity to wallow in some childhood nostalgia when The Rolling Stones headline the Pyramid Stage in a few weeks time.
“I’ve got nothing else on Glasto weekend, and I want to spend some time with my family and have a good time as well,” he remarks.
“We went camping all the time when I was a kid. Camping in France was our family holiday. And we brought baked beans with us, as we didn’t trust that fancy foreign food. We were so totally English.”
The Rolling Stones are appearing at Glastonbury for the first time in their career, and top the bill on Saturday, June 29th. Also headlining for 2013 are Mumford & Sons and the Arctic Monkeys.
