MAS Records Showcase in Leeds

On Saturday 11th May MAS Records will be hosting a free showcase, championing the wealth of new music talent that exists in Leeds. Honeycomb Love, Mordrake, Evil Regent, Delirium Theory and Otiks will be creating something new, risky and different at Eiger Music Venue. MAS Records will be inviting industry representatives to be part of the music action in Leeds.

MAS Records is the pioneer of a new music mentoring and development programme. The project was founded in 2001 by Kevyn Gammond, with Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin) and Karl Hyde (Underworld) as its patrons. MAS Records have been operating their development programme – based at Eiger Music Studios in Leeds – for the past year.

Kevyn Gammond said, “MAS Records is delighted to collaborate with Eiger Music Studios in the ongoing creative growth of music development in Leeds. Music and arts contributes so much to our culture and economy, we now want to continue nurturing the talent here in Leeds, with a forward thinking approach to the artist development.”

“This is the second showcase we have assembled and it features an enviable roster of artists, who are currently part of the Development Programme, and the standard of these acts is extremely high. We are sure they will inspire other bands in Leeds to become involved with MAS Records.”

Scott Garrett added, “On the night, MAS Records staff will be available to explain our free wide-ranging services, new bands can talk to the bands that will be performing on the night and already working with us. So let us help your band grow and develop. This event is free to the general public and anyone who wants to know what matters in today’s music.”
