The 1975 have confirmed their debut album will be released on September 9th, with a full UK tour due shortly after.

The Manchester band have been locked in recording sessions with former Arctic Monkeys desk twiddler Mike Crossey during recent months, and are due to re-release the track ‘The City‘ in May; the single previously led their debut EP ‘Facedown‘ and formed the centre-piece of Live4ever’s Presents… feature last year.

The UK tour begins on September 15th at the Newcastle University, and pushes on for the remainder of that month before Irish shows in Dublin and Belfast bring proceedings to an end.

In addition, gigs at the Manchester and Brixton Academies have already been arranged for January 2014.
