The Mission UK announce US tour

The Mission UK just celebrated their 25th anniversary as a band in 2011 highlighted by 4 million album sales world wide during that period. Presently, the band are rehearsing to prepare for their 12th studio album before boarding a ship for three back to back shows on the Bristol Channel. While cruising, The Mission will perform their new material to sold out audiences as an exclusive preview of the album and will embark on a US tour later this fall (see dates below).

Before touring the group will head to a secluded residential studio in the heart of the UK to work with David M Allen (Depeche Mode, The Cure) who is producing their new album. David says, “It is a privilege and an honor to be working with the Mission on their new album for The End Records, I’ve had many dealings with the band over the last 30 years that I have known them, and this chance to record with the original members is very special”. But the most exciting part of these plans – the whole process will be filmed for The Mission UK’s new documentary, which will be released next year.

The band are happy to be working with their new Brooklyn based label, The End Records, “Well, who would’ve thought it 12 years ago when we were touring Europe with my mate, Ville Valo and HIM, that we’d end up on The End Records with them in the good ol’ USA somewhere further down the track”, states singer Wayne Hussey. “Very nice to share a label with the legends that are Anvil too and looking forward to blagging some new Dandy Warhols CD’s…If we ask for drugs just laugh and say you can’t get any. It’s healthier for us and for you. See you soon. “
