It was going to happen sooner or later – 19 year young Jake Bugg has cracked the Billboard 200 albums chart for the first time.
A week and a day after his appearance on David Letterman, where he performed his single ‘Lightning Bolt‘, the self-titled album landed at No 75. Bugg will begin a North American tour in September, starting in Washington, DC.
Jake joins two other British acts on the US chart, with James Blake entering at number 32 with his sophomore album ‘Overgrown‘ and indie favorites Mumford & Sons holding on to a top twenty spot – ‘Babel‘ moved from 14 to 20.
