Cali sister trio Haim, who we recently witnessed put on an awesomely rocking SXSW set at famous outdoor venue Stubs in Austin, TX (photo) , are releasing their new 3 track 10″ vinyl and 4 track digital download EP ‘Falling’ today.
The vinyl offers two additional remixes of Falling by Psychemagik and Duke Dumont while the digital download comes with a live recording of the trio’s appearance at the iTunes Festival last year in London.

Ariel Rechtshaid, who worked with Vampire Weekend, Usher and Major Lazer among many others, produced the EP.

The California based band also released a cover of The Strokes‘ ‘I’ll try anything once‘ Danielle Haim was a member of Julian Casablanca’s backing band on his solo tour in 2010 where he often featured the song, Consequence Of Sound reports. The sisters Danielle, Alana and Este recorded their own version for Sirius XMU. Take a listen at the smooth cover below:
