Beady Eye last night followed up the unveiling of ‘Flick Of The Finger‘ earlier this month with the premiere of the first official single to be taken from their forthcoming second studio album ‘BE‘.
‘Second Bite Of The Apple‘ previews the former Oasis members’ new LP, and is available to download through the usual outlets now.
Producer Dave Sitek manned the desk during the recording of ‘BE’, and is already being credited with coaxing a more experimental sound out of the group when compared to the safely-trodden path of 2011’s ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding‘.
“Working with Sitek just opened something up in us,” Liam Gallagher has previously said in a statement. “He’s without a doubt the best producer I’ve ever worked with, a real outlaw – he doesn’t give a fuck, no rules. We had a new found focus when we were writing it – we really got our heads down and got our shit together – clear heads, none of that crap from the ’90s. It feels like a really special record for us.”
Beady Eye have a handful of UK tour dates confirmed for June, beginning at the Manchester Ritz on the 19th.
