MGMT have a long period of touring ahead of them after unveiling North American live dates which begin with a show at the Penn State University on April 26th.
The duo’s third album is expected in June following recording sessions during the past twelve months in Buffalo, New York and being described by bandmates Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser as ‘even weirder’ than its 2010 predecessor ‘Congratulations‘.
The tour moves into May with a show at Lupo’s in Providence on the first of the month, and has its main bulk closed on May 18th in Stanford, California.
A handful of festival appearances are then due in June and July.
