Franz Ferdinand and Bastille have become the latest acts to be added to the Ibiza and Mallorca Rocks events which take place this summer.
“This is the first time we’ve been to Ibiza Rocks, so are looking forward to it,” Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand remarks. “Paul’s been and told us all about it, so we’re expecting a great crowd there and Mallorca.”
Jake Bugg, Palma Violets, Example and The Vaccines are amongst the other artists already confirmed to perform on the Balearic Islands in June and August this year.
“We’re really looking forward to getting out to Ibiza and Mallorca for the first time,” Bastille’s Dan Smith has also commented. “Being able to play a gig and then go to the beach will be a massive novelty, and it’ll be nice to see a bit of proper summer and try to head to some of the massive clubs as well.”
