David Bowie gets UK number one album with fastest seller of 2013 so far

David Bowie‘s comeback album ‘The Next Day‘ has become the fastest seller in the UK of 2013 so far to debut at the top of the Album Chart this week.

‘The Next Day’ hands Bowie his first chart-topper since 1993 and sold 94,000 copies during last week. Elsewhere, Bastille have dropped to #4 with their debut ‘Bad Blood‘, and Bon Jovi enter at no.2 with ‘What About Now?‘.

Hurts also debut inside the Top 10, and see their second record ‘Exile‘ land at #9.
