Dave Grohl is streaming the official soundtrack to his new Sound City Studios documentary in full via NPR ahead of its official release on March 12th.
‘Sound City: Real To Reel‘ includes contributions from various musicians who have spent time in Sound City at some point during the past four decades, and also features an original composition from Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Sir Paul McCartney which was unveiled at the 12.12.12 benefit concert in New York.
Dave Grohl formed the Sound City Players back in January as another promotional tool for his film; the band made their UK bow late last month and are expected to appear at the South By Southwest festival next week.
