Bastille have claimed this week’s UK number one album with their debut effort ‘Bad Blood‘.

The band, led principally by Dan Smith, have built up a large following in the UK during the past year, and narrowly missed out on topping the Singles Chart last week, but have now gone one better thanks to ‘Bad Blood’, which keeps Emeli Sande off the summit.

Elsewhere, new LPs from the Stereophonics and Dido are at #3 and #5 respectively, while Mumford & Sons remain in the Top 10 with ‘Babel‘.
