Robert Plant has suggested he is open to the possibility of a Led Zeppelin reunion in 2014 after revealing he has ‘nothing to do’ next year and is waiting for a phone-call from his fellow surviving bandmates Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones.

Hopes of another comeback for Led Zeppelin were raised last year when their 2007 one-off London O2 Arena gig – held in memory of Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegün – was finally packaged up for a CD and DVD release in October 2012.

And despite the trio purposefully evading any questions about a second reformation during the live album’s promotion, Robert Plant has now told 60 Minutes in Australia he is waiting tight for contact from Page and Jones.

“They don’t say a word,” he said. “They’re quite contained in their own worlds and they leave it to me. I’m not the bad guy. You need to see the Capricorns – I’ve got nothing to do in 2014.”

More Led Zeppelin activity is expected soon in the form of a series of remastered LP releases, a project currently being overseen by Jimmy Page.
