Krautrock pioneers Kraftwerk have been unveiled as headliners for the 2013 T In The Park festival, joining The Killers and Mumford & Sons at the top of the bill.
“Kraftwerk are a truly seminal band,” festival director Geoff Ellis has remarked. “Their revolutionary sound altered the face of contemporary music, and paved the way for so many artists across so many musical genres.”
“They are a massively influential group and an incredible live act, and we are hugely excited to welcome Kraftwerk to T in the Park for the first time this July, in what will be a very special moment in our 20th year celebrations.”
T In The Park takes place this year between July 12th-14th in Balado near Kinross, and also has the likes of Jake Bugg, Rihanna and Alt-J on its line-up.
