James Blake has unveiled the full tracklist for his new album ‘Overgrown‘ – the follow up to his 2011 Mercury nominated, self-titled debut album.
The LP contains ten songs, and is set to be kicked off by its title-track. It has already been preceded by the single ‘Retrograde‘ and is due for release on April 8th.
Speaking to Spinner late last year, Blake said his new album was shaping up to be more ‘aggressive’ than its predecessor, explaining:
“A lot of the vocal music I’ve been doing recently has been quite clubby. But that’s mainly because I’ve had more time to go to clubs, and that normally breeds that kind of influence. I’ve been doing quite a few DJ set recently, which have been really fun. I think it’s going to be a bit more aggressive, to be honest. It seems that way.”
