‘Mosquito‘ is pencilled in to arrive on April 15th, and has seen the band revisit the winning formula of their previous record in returning Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas and hooking up once again with producer David Sitek, as well as Nick Launay.
“We would love for this music to make our fans feeeeel something, for it to stir some shit up inside of them, whatever that may be,” singer Karen O has said in a statement.
“SO much feeling went into this record, it was the rope ladder thrown down into the ditch for us to climb up and dust ourselves off. I hope others can climb up it too; we’re excited to share the good vibes.”
A trailer for the album has been released and can be viewed below, while the artwork – designed by South Korean artist Beomsik Shimbe Shim – has also been unveiled (right).
