Paul Weller has been added to this year’s Isle Of Wight festival line-up as the special guest of headliners The Stone Roses.
Weller is booked to perform immediately before the Manchester band on June 14th, and has said:
“It’s been a while since I’ve played the Isle of Wight Festival and I’m excited to be playing it this year, it’s a great way to kick off the summer.”
In addition Ke$ha, Lawson, Kodaline, I Am Kloot, Devlin, Little Angels, Willy Mason and The Gypsy Queens have also signed up for the 2013 event.
As well as The Stone Roses, Bon Jovi and The Killers will also top the bill in June, with John Giddings remarking last month when the latter were confirmed:
“We are proud to bring one of the world’s greatest rock bands of the last decade to our small island off the South Coast of England. Thanks for coming – it will be a weekend to remember!”
