Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds have released the second taste of new material from their forthcoming fifteenth studio album ‘Push The Sky Away‘.
‘Jubilee Street‘ can be streamed through YouTube below, and follows the first single and album opener ‘We No Who U R‘ which was made available last month.
Recorded at the pristine La Fabrique studios in the south of France, ‘Push The Sky Away‘ is due for release on February 18th, and is the band’s first since 2008′s ‘Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!‘.
“Well, if I were to use that threadbare metaphor of albums being like children, then Push The Sky Away is the ghost-baby in the incubator and Warren’s loops are its tiny, trembling heart-beat,” Nick Cave has said of the record. “I don’t know, this record just seems new, you know, but new in an old school kind of way.”
A series of European festival appearances are said to be in the works for this summer, while shows in North America, Mexico and Australia will get underway shortly.
