Muse are planning on enlisting a full orchestra and choir for a typically bombastic performance of ‘Supremacy‘ at next month’s Brit Awards.

“We’re going to perform there hopefully with a full orchestra and choir to do a full rendition of ‘Supremacy,’ which is the first song on the album,” singer Matt Bellamy told Radio.com. “It’ll be nice to perform that with an orchestra.

Muse are up for the British Group and Best Live prizes at this year’s Brits, and will also be in Los Angeles shortly before that ceremony after landing a pair of nominations in the specialist rock categories at the 2013 Grammy Awards.

“The Grammys are a bit more high-brow,” Bellamy continued on the two events. “It feels more serious, a bit more like the Oscars or something. The Brits is a bit more pop. Not as formal, I’d say.”

“The Brits are more like the Golden Globes when compared to the Oscars,” Dominic Howard added. “Everyone’s sitting around, eating dinner, drinking, chatting. You watch the Golden Globes, and you can’t hear what the presenters are saying because everyone’s just chatting in the background. The Brits are a little bit like that.”
