Writing on their Facebook page, 107.7 claims a new track from the New York band entitled ‘All The Time‘ has been delivered to them direct from RCA Records, and will be ‘leaked’ very soon.
“We’ll have to “leak” this soon,” the short post reads. “You won’t be disappointed…”
After their previous studio album ‘Angles‘ was dogged by delays and inter-band problems during its prolonged creation, The Strokes promised to return to the studio to right the wrongs of those sessions as soon as possible, and were reported to have begun work in the Electric Lady Studios earlier this summer.
Those rumours were initially dismissed, but Albert Hammond Sr, father of the Strokes guitarist, contradicted the management soon after, declaring: “Albert says that the stuff they’re doing is incredible. They’re doing it themselves with their friend, engineer and producer.”
