Calvin Harris set for first number one album of 2013


chCalvin Harris is on course for the first number one album of 2013 according to the Midweek Album Chart.

The DJ/producer’s record ‘18 Months‘ has climbed six places on its position last week, and is currently ahead of 2012’s biggest selling LP – Emeli Sande‘s ‘Our Version Of Events‘.




Elsewhere, Jake Bugg‘s self-titled debut album has also enjoyed an increase in sales so far this week and sits at #5, while The Lumineers, who are enjoying a significant radio hit in the UK with ‘Ho Hey‘, have seen their own eponymous effort continue its climb up the charts, now placed at #11.

The first official chart of the year will be confirmed this coming Sunday (January 6th).
