Black Sabbath have revealed their new album, due for release in June, will be entitled ‘13‘.

The record sees Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler coming together for the first time since 1978’s ‘Never Say Die!’, and has been recorded primarily in Los Angeles during the course of last year with Rick Rubin. Rage Against The Machine‘s Brad Wilk has filled in for drummer Bill Ward who, despite originally being a part of the band’s reunion, withdrew shortly after citing contractual issues.

Black Sabbath had initially planned to head out on a lengthy comeback tour last year, but were forced to cancel the vast majority of those dates when Tony Iommi was diagnosed with cancer. The group did perform a one-off hometown gig at the Birmingham Academy last May ahead of a headline appearance at the Download festival.

They now have new concerts booked for 2013, and plan on visiting Australasia and Japan in April and May, with more dates expected in due course.

2013 tour dates:

APRIL
Auckland Vector Arena (20, 22)
Brisbane Entertainment Centre (25)
Sydney All Phones Arena (27)
Melbourne Rod Laver Arena (29)

MAY
Melbourne Rod Laver Arena (1)
Perth Arena (4)
Ozzfest, Tokyo (12)
