Tribes will swiftly follow-up their debut album ‘Baby‘ next year with ‘Wish To Scream‘.
The London band have scheduled the album for release on May 20th, 2013 after sessions in Los Angeles’ Sound City Studios – currently the subject of a high profile documentary being put together by Dave Grohl – and have also made the track ‘Wrapped Up In a Carpet‘ available as a download from their official website.
‘Baby’ arrived back in the January of this year, and was named by Live4ever as one of our Essential Debut Albums Of 2012 after being described as featuring, “…thumping drums and breezy production akin to The Delays are the modern backdrop to the influences which sit in the heart of the record and it’s a blend that produces fruitful results.”
“Tribes certainly wear their influences on their sleeves, but that is not to say they are void of any originality. Drawing from your inspirations and doing something new and fresh with those ideas is not easy to pull off, but Tribes have managed it.”
