Palma Violets have confirmed the details of their highly anticipated debut album.
Due for release on February 25th 2013 through Rough Trade, ‘180‘ will contain eleven new tracks and is to be opened by the previous single ‘Best Of Friends‘, which has gone a long way in making the Londoners one of the most hyped new bands of the year. Their debut record takes its name from the house in London which has witnessed many guerrilla gigs since they formed in 2011.
Palma Violets will bring ‘180’ to Austin, Texas next year when they take part in the annual South By Southwest festival. The group were just one of many acts to be confirmed for the 2013 event recently, with the likes of Reverend & The Makers, Alt-J and Klaxons also set to make the trip in March.
