Bruce Springsteen and Roger Waters have the second and third highest grossing tours of 2012 respectively, reports Billboard.

The Boss’ tour, launched following the release of his latest album ‘Wrecking Ball‘, has grossed $199,371,7910 during the course of its 72-date tour, while Roger Waters’ re-imagining of the ultimately doomed early Eighties Pink Floyd tour The Wall – which will embark on an ambitious stadium leg next year – has brought in $186,466,703, also from 72 shows. Both tours are eclipsed by pop superstar Madonna, who has the highest grossing tour of the year with a figure of $228,406,085.

Elsewhere, Coldplay‘s Mylo Xyloto tour, which has included 67 live gigs, is the fifth biggest money spinner of 2012, while further back, Red Hot Chili Peppers are at #15 and Pearl Jam are 23rd.
