Blur and Morrissey will lead an impressive looking line-up at the Vive Latino festival next year having been confirmed as headliners for the Mexican event.

Morrissey will top the bill on the festival’s opening night (March 14th 2013), with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Underworld following a day later. Blur will then continue their growing live commitments for next year with a headline performance on March 16th.

The expansive list of over 100 bands due to perform in 2013 can be found in full over at the festival’s official website, with the likes of Tame Impala, Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeroes and Silversun Pickups among the other highlights.

The news expands Blur’s 2013 itinerary still further which, despite the four bandmates’ refusal to discuss their future plans in any detail following the high profile Hyde Park concert in August, is now looking like being another relatively busy one for the group.

In addition, Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon were confirmed for next year’s Teenage Cancer Trust concerts in London yesterday, with curator Noel Gallagher expressing his wish to join the pair onstage at the Royal Albert Hall.
