Video: Rage Against The Machine premiere Finsbury Park Victory Concert footage

Rage Against The Machine have premiered another video which will feature on the forthcoming comprehensive re-release of their self-titled debut album – this time a clip capturing the band live at their 2010 ‘Finsbury Park Victory Concert’ which is available below.

Rage Against The Machine performed the huge June 2010 London gig after a Facebook-led campaign was successful in getting their ‘Killing In The Name‘ single to top of the UK charts in time for the previous Christmas.

“This was far more than another concert from the LA four-piece; it was a movement in action and a powerful statement against the brazen manufacturism of the music industry. RATM had beaten Joe McElderry, winner of the TV-talent show ‘X Factor’, to the number one spot with their signature anthem ‘Killing In The Name’,” reads Live4ever’s review.

“This was the first time in five years that Simon Cowell, the archetypal pop-music Svengali and creator of the TV show, failed to have a Christmas number one with his latest offering from the X Factor assembly-line. As the sea of souvenir t-shirts in Finsbury Park read, it was ‘Rage 1 – Cowell 0’.”

The re-release will arrive on November 27th, with the deluxe box-set edition containing two CDs and DVDs, a 180 gram vinyl LP, 12″ lift-off box, a 40 page booklet and a double-sided poster in all.
