Video: Rage Against The Machine post rare performance of ‘Take The Power Back’

With the re-release of their self-titled debut due up on November 27th, Rage Against The Machine have posted one of the rare live performances which are set to form a part of the LP’s brand new box-set edition.

A live version of ‘Take the Power Back‘ from Chicago’s Vic Theatre venue, shot in 1993, can be viewed via YouTube below, and is just one of many Rage performances which will be available on the deluxe box-set edition of their first record, with tracks such as ‘Freedom‘ from the Pink Pop festival in 1994 and a 1992 Soundstage performance of ‘Bombtrack‘ also included among many others.

In addition, the band’s June 2010 appearance at London’s Finsbury Park, hastily arranged after their Facebook-led charge to the 2009 Christmas UK Number One, is released in full on the DVD.

In all, the deluxe box-set contains two CDs and DVDs, as well as a 180 gram vinyl LP, 12″ lift-off box, a 40 page booklet and double-sided poster.
