Roger Waters will bring his new vision of Pink Floyd‘s The Wall to Wembley stadium next year.

Having previously confirmed a slew of shows across Europe earlier this week after concluding his first run of Wall tour dates last summer, Waters will now play Wembley on September 14th 2013, with tickets going onsale from November 21st.

“I’m extremely glad to be playing ‘The Wall’ in Europe again,” Water commented this week. “It’s going to be a lot of fun for all of us. I’ve reworked the show to play outdoors in large stadiums. It’s really good. Even more moving, engaging, dramatic and thrilling than the arena shows.”

“I’ve had to rethink the whole thing about stadiums. This wide wall stadium show couldn’t have been done 40 years ago. We couldn’t have filled the space in a way that would have been emotionally, musically and theatrically satisfying. Technology has changed. Now we can.”

Waters’ first run with The Wall had become one of the highest grossing tours of 2012 by the time a final date arrived in Quebec City back in July.
