Kings Of Leon will play two nights apiece in London, Manchester and Birmingham next year as part of a wider European tour.

The US band are currently busy working on a sixth studio album, and are likely to arrive in England armed with new material when the tour begins on June 12th at the London O2 Arena. A second night in London immediately follows, with twin nights at the Manchester Arena due up next on June 24th and 25th respectively.

Gigs at the LG Arena in Birmingham on July 9th and 10th will then bring events to an end.

Speaking to BBC 6Music last month, Kings Of Leon bass player Jared revealed the Followill clan are progressing well with their writing and recording sessions.

“We are in the writing process right now and it’s coming along pretty quickly,” he explained. “We’ll definitely get into the studio but you know we have no plans of finishing it this year but definitely early next year, so I think people should expect something from us sooner rather than later.”

2013 UK tour dates:

JUNE
London O2 Arena (12, 13)
Manchester Arena (24, 25)

JULY
Birmingham LG Arena (9, 10)
