Coldplay‘s new concert film Live 2012 will received its premiere in 50 countries around the world on one night later this month.

Tickets for the simultaneous global screenings were made available this week as the band get ready to unveil the film on November 13th.

Live 2012 has been directed by Paul Dugdale, and tells the story of Coldplay’s lengthy Mylo Xyloto tour, which began over a year ago in Spain shortly after the release of their fifth studio album.

CD, DVD and Blu-ray editions of the film will later be available from November 19th, while an ‘interactive live e-book’, reported to comprise photographs, videos and frontman Chris Martin‘s studio journal amongst other things, is also set for release.

Coldplay’s Mylo Xyloto tour has been notable for the wireless controlled Xylobands which were handed out to fans at select gigs and which, according to guitarist Jonny Buckland, set the band back £400,000 a show.

Full details of the global film screenings can be found at Coldplay’s official website.
