Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor will rejoin The Rolling Stones as special guests at their O2 Arena gigs in London later this month.

The two surviving former members were publicly invited to rehearsals by Keith Richards last year, and have now been confirmed as a part of the band’s 50th anniversary celebrations.

In announcing the full details of their comeback shows, the group has also unveiled a start time of 8pm and a hit-packed, two hour long set.

Longtime bassist Bill Wyman joined The Rolling Stones in late 1962 and witnessed their creative and commercial peak before leaving in 1990, a decision which was finally officially announced two years later.

Mick Taylor was a shorter lived member of the Stones, arriving soon after Brian Jones‘ sacking in 1969. He left in 1974 and paved the way for Ronnie Wood to assume the position he still holds to this day.

The Rolling Stones’ 50th anniversary tour is due to begin on November 25th in London, after which they will move on to New York and New Jersey for three Stateside gigs next month.
