2012 Mercury Music Prize winners Alt-J and the Klaxons are among the first wave of acts to be confirmed for next year’s South By Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas.
The annual industry get-together will take place between March 12th-17th 2013, and is set to be another mammoth collection of new band showcases and high profile guests.
Along with Alt-J and Klaxons, the likes of Charlotte Church, Brendan Benson, punk poet John Cooper Clarke (photo above) and Holy Esque have also confirmed for SXSW, with many more set to be announced over the coming months.
