South East London’s Crushed Beaks formed over an appreciation of old-school and cult horror films. Their new video for “Breakdown”, directed by Jonny Sanders, finds the duo’s horror-inspired lyricism set to an escalating garage-rock rush infused with a blood splash of classic Northern Soul.
