The Stone Roses have announced the first live commitments for next year following their hugely successful 2012 reunion.

The Manchester band will perform a series of gigs as part of the Future Music Festival in Australia next year, beginning at Brisbane’s Doomben Racecourse on March 2nd. They are then due to visit Perth, Sydney and Melbourne before a final stop at Adelaide’s Bonython Park on March 11th.

It is now almost exactly a year since Ian Brown, John Squire, Mani and Reni publicly confirmed the most unlikely of reunions at a packed London press conference. Shortly after, their homecoming gigs at Manchester’s Heaton Park became the fastest selling in the UK ever.

The group are now widely reported to be working on a new album – their first since 1994′s ‘Second Coming‘ – with a 2013 release expected.

Dates:

MARCH
Brisbane Doomben Racecourse (2)
Perth Arena Joondalup (3)
Sydney Royal Randwick (9)
Melbourne Flemington Racecourse (10)
Adelaide Bonython Park (11)
