The Rolling Stones made their long-awaited live return in Paris with a small warm up gig at the French city’s LaTrabendo venue last night (October 25th).

After criticism surrounding the ticket prices of their main comeback gigs in London and New Jersey next month, fans were able to get into this show for under £20, and were treated to an hour long set comprising some of the band’s best loved hits, including ‘Tumbling Dice‘, ‘Jumpin Jack Flash‘ and ‘Brown Sugar‘, while recent single ‘Doom and Gloom‘ was also given an airing.

Guitarist Ronnie Wood suggested earlier this week there could be more club gigs arranged before the band play two sold-out nights at London’s O2 Arena on November 25th and 29th.

Setlist:

‘Route 66’ (Nat King Cole cover)
‘It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll (But I Like It)’
‘Shattered’
‘When the Whip Comes Down’
‘Champagne & Reefer’ (Muddy Waters cover)
‘Doom & Gloom’
‘Miss You’
‘Start Me Up’
‘Midnight Rambler’
‘Tumbling Dice’
‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash’
‘Brown Sugar’

Lucky for us a fan managed to smuggle his cell phone camera into the gig:
