The Rolling Stones have announced the first of their low-key warm up gigs disclosed by guitarist Ronnie Wood earlier this week, though there’s no cloak and dagger Cockroaches disguise for the legendary band – the news has instead simply been confirmed on their official Twitter feed.

Ronnie Wood discussed the Stones’ plans to perform a series of small club gigs as they continue rehearsals for a 50th anniversary tour, telling NME that: “There’s going to be little club gigs that we’re gonna surprise ourselves to do as well, we’ll bung a few in next week or the week after, so look out for any Cockroaches gigs or whatever.”

And now, the details of a gig tonight have been unveiled with a tweet that reads, ‘The Rolling Stones are playing a short warm-up gig tonight, Thursday 25th Oct, in Paris’, while French newspaper Le Parisien have claimed it will take place at the 700 capacity Trabendo theatre in Paris.
